The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Diversion of Highway (East) (No.19) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up and diversion of a length of Footpath 29 at Elsenham, in the District of Uttlesford of Uttlesford District Council.
This is to enable development as permitted by Uttlesford District Council, under reference UTT/24/3150/DFO.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/E/S247/6272). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Elsenham Post Office, 1 Ambrose Corner, Elsenham, Bishops Stortford, CM22 6EH.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 24 September 2026.
