Woodlands Road - Pre-Application Consultation for Mixed-Use Development

PRE-APPLICATION PUBLIC CONSULTATION EVENT

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2013 & THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION) (SCOTLAND) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2021.

Notice under Regulation 7(2)(b) Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant for proposed development at site at 235 Woodlands Road, Glasgow, G3 6NN, for the following:

Erection of mixed-use development, including residential, purpose built student accommodation, review of demolition of or retention of clubhouse, community and commercial uses (Class 1A, Class 3, Class 4, Class 10, Class 11 and Sui Generis), demolition works, with access, landscaping, community accessible and private open space, and associated infrastructure and development works.

Two in-person consultation events are being held by Kelvin Properties Developments Limited. The first round of consultation has already taken place.

This public notice relates to the second consultation event. This is to take place on Wednesday 30th September 2026 between 2pm and 7pm at Burnbank Bowling Club, 235 Woodlands Road, Glasgow, G3 6NN. During this time, members of the project team will be available to respond to any questions. This event is primarily about providing feedback regarding the views gathered during the pre-application consultation period.

If you wish to make comments on the proposals you may do so via a feedback form available at the event or the project website, by email (burnbank@consultationonline.co.uk) or in writing to Cavendish Consulting no later than Thursday 8th October.

Please note, this notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to Glasgow City Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to Glasgow City Council normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
