KCC/FH/0084/2026 & FH/0114/2026 – Proposed development at Dungeness A Power Station, Dungeness Road, Lydd, Kent TN29 9PP
Nuclear Restoration Services is applying to Kent County Council Planning Applications Group for planning permission for:
Application KCC/FH/0084/2026 - Extra radiological shielding wall to be placed around the south elevation and south west corner of the new Active Waste Drum Store inside the existing Low level Active Waste (LLAW) building.
Application KCC/FH/0114/2026 - Construction of a replacement shielded storage area for ISO containers, including erection of precast concrete walls, a water shielding wall, gate, partially suspended electrical services, and associated civil engineering work.
The proposed development is outside but adjacent to the Dungeness Conservation Area but may affect its character and/or appearance and may also affect the setting of a listed building
