Closed in 2025. East Sussex County Council considers that the school and outside playing spaces are no longer needed.
The intention is to sell the asset at a future date, to be confirmed.
The County Council will require the consent of the Secretary of State for Education under Section 77 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 to dispose of the playing spaces which form part of the school and under Schedule 1, Part 1 of the Academies Act 2010 to dispose of the school building.
The County Council by way of this notice, is advising of the intention to seek consent and to dispose of the asset.
Any objections to the proposal should be made in writing to the Estates Department, ESCC, St Annes Crescent, Lewes, BN7 1UE
All objections to be raised before 30th November 2026
