The National Energy System Operator (NESO) is the responsible authority for the development of the Centralised Strategic Network Design (CSNP).
Following Strategic Environmental Assessment Screening with the Consultation Authorities NESO has made a determination that the CSNP is likely to have significant environmental effects, and we therefore plan to undertake a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA).
This letter detailing the determination that NESO plans to undertake a Strategic Environmental Assessment of the CSNP has been sent to the relevant consultation authorities and can be viewed on the NESO website (

).
