Public Notice: Adoption Of The Hnd Implementation Plan
The National Energy System Operator (NESO) has adopted the Holistic Network Design (HND) Implementation Plan on the 7th of September 2026.
The HND Implementation Plan brings together the offshore network design recommendations from the Holistic Network Design and the Holistic Network Design Follow-up Exercise into one combined national design. As part of this work, NESO undertook statutory strategic environmental assessments and consulted on the findings.
Following consideration of the consultation responses and the environmental assessment findings, NESO has now adopted the HND Implementation Plan.
