The following PROPOSALS are the subject of an application submitted to the Council.

Proposal Affecting A Conservation Area:
26/02084/FP — Southern Green Farm, Southern Green, Rushden, Hertfordshire, SG9 0SX - Erection of four detached dwellings with air source heat pumps, parking and landscaping following demolition of existing agricultural building.

26/01890/FPH — 15 The Finches, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG4 9PB - Single storey front and side extensions. Insertion of side box dormer and 4 no. rooflights to facilitate conversion of loft into habitable accommodation. Addition of solar panel array onto proposed side dormer flat roof and reposition of existing solar panels. Alterations to fenestration and removal of chimney. Repositioning and replacement of boundary fence alongside boundary and reinstatement of existing rear access to provide off-street parking space.

Proposal Affecting The Setting Of A Listed Building:
26/02076/FP — 11 Elms Farm, Langley, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG4 7PT - Reclad walls/roof and re-roofing including the alteration of the existing roof from ridged to mono-pitch and reduced footprint to separate the structure from a listed building (development already carried out).

26/02139/FPH — Mill House, Purwell Lane, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG4 0NF - Installation of freestanding, above ground swimming pool structure in rear garden.

Proposal Affecting The Setting Of A Listed Building And Affecting A Conservation Area:
26/02101/FPH — Chantry House, 31 West End, Ashwell Baldock, Hertfordshire, SG7 5PH - Erection of detached three-bay oak-framed ancillary outbuilding.

Proposal Constituting Major Development:
26/01887/FP — Pirton Hall, Shillington Road, Pirton, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG5 3HR - Erection of two detached dwellings with detached doubles garages following demolition of existing detached garage. Single storey side extension, front infill extension, first floor rear balcony and alterations to fenestration to existing coach house to provide one 3-bed dwelling and erection of detached double garage to serve the coach house. Erection of attached garage to serve Pirton Hall following part demolition of Pirton Hall. Installation of soft and hard landscaping works.

The application details can be viewed on the Council’s web site at: www.north-herts.gov.uk/home/planning. Any person who wishes to make representations about the PROPOSAL should submit them in writing to this office by no later than 23 days from the date of this notice. For householder applications, in the event of an appeal against refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.
