NOTICE OF INTENDED DISPOSAL OF LAND Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972

Notice is hereby given that Shropshire Council intends to dispose of two parcels of land which are for identification purposes described in the Schedule to this notice and shown edged red on the plans referred to in the Schedule. The plans are available for inspection during normal office hours at Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY3 8HQ.

This is formal notice given insofar as the above parcels of land consist or form part of open spaces within the meaning of the above Section.

Shropshire Council has resolved to lease the former play area at Park View, Broseley to Broseley Town Council. Broseley Town Council intends to use the site as allotments for the local community. Shropshire Council has resolved to lease the land at Newhouse Lane, Albrighton to Albrighton Parish Council. Albrighton Parish Council intends to use the site as a skate park for the local community.

Objections to the proposed disposals should be made in writing and addressed to Rob Blackwood Principal Commercial Estates Surveyor at Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY3 8HQ indicating which disposal is being objected to.

Objections must be received by no later than 22 October 2026
