Scottish Power Energy Networks is holding a drop-in Pre-Application Consultation (PAC 1) exhibition on our proposals to extendtheexisting 132kV substation at Smeaton. To support the connection of renewable developments in the area, we are required to extend the existing platformat Smeatonsubstation. This will allow for the installation of an additional bay to accommodate new electrical equipment.
This first stage of consultation will provide information on the design and planning process, environmental and engineering considerations and visual material showing the proposed works.
