What is planned?

SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14
NUNEATON AND BEDWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL
FOOTPATH B46 (PART) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026
The above order was made on 22nd July 2026. The effect of the order is to divert part of the public footpath B46 as follows:
B46 The section of the public footpath to be diverted runs from Point A (GR 439487 287007) running in an easterly direction for approximately 144 metres to Point B (GR 439665 286992) and then running in a south easterly direction for approximately 135 metres to Point C (GR 439800 286893).
The new path commences at Point A (GR 439487 287007) running generally in a south easterly direction for approximately 133 metres to Point D (GR 439641 286945) and continues running in a south easterly direction for approximately 99 metres to Point E (GR 439756 286898) and continues running in a south easterly direction for approximately 28 metres to Point F (GR 439790 286893) and then running in an easterly direction for approximately 8 metres to join the existing footpath at Point C (GR 439800 286893). The new footpath shall have a width of 2 metres between Point A (GR 439487 287007) and Point C (GR 439800 286893).
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at the Town Hall, Nuneaton from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be brought there at the price of £5.00.
Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent or delivered in writing to the Head of Legal Services, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, Town Hall, Nuneaton, CV11 5AA not later than 14th October 2026. Please clearly state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
