THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENT IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2017 NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 21
The proposed development at Land at Cairnoch Hill, Carronbridge is subject to Environmental Impact Assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environment Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017 as it is likely to have significant effects on the environment.
Notice is hereby given that an EIA Report has been submitted to Stirling Council by SLR Consulting Limited on behalf of Eurowind Energy Limited relating to a ‘major’ planning application in respect of: the installation and operation of up to 4no. wind turbines (up to a maximum overall height of 180 metres) and associated infrastructure (known as Cairnoch Hill wind farm).
REFERENCE NUMBER 26/00444/FUL
Possible decisions relative to the application are:
(i) Approval without conditions
(ii) Approval with conditions
(iii) Refusal
A copy of the EIA Report, the associated application, and other documents submitted with the application may be viewed online at https://www.stirling.gov.uk/ during the period of 30 days beginning with the date of this notice.
A hard copy of the EIA will be available for inspection free of charge during normal office hours at Stirling Council's offices at Old Viewforth, Stirling, FK8 2ET.
A copy of the EIA report may be purchased from the Applicant (Telephone 0141-251-0680; Email: cairnochhillwindfarm@eurowindenergy.com) either in electronic or hard copy. Paper copies of the EIA Report (including Supporting Documents and Non-Technical Summary) may be purchased for £1,800 per copy, or £20 per USB memory stick copy.
Any person who wishes to make representations to Stirling Council about the EIA Report should make them by email to planning@stirling.gov.uk quoting Ref: 26/00444/FUL no later than 30 days from the date of this Notice. The Council will acknowledge receipt of comments but is unable to respond individually to points or questions raised. Any representations made will be available for public inspection and will be published on the internet. All matters raised in representations will be addressed by Stirling Council’s report on the application. Any submission of additional environmental information will be further notified by means of a public notice which will detail how representations can be made in respect of that additional information.
