C45M – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C45M Muir of Fowlis – 14.09.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 14.09.26 for 12 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the on the C45M Muir of Fowlis from Carnaveron House to Old Lynturk Kirk.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety to allow for the installation of a new duct in verge and carriageway. An alternative route is available via the C45M – A980 – U44M – C45M and vice versa.
