The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East Midlands) (No.18) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of highway adjoining Hinckley Road A47 at Leicester Forest West, in Blaby. This is to enable development as permitted by Blaby District Council, under reference 24/0483/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO3638570). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Enderby Parish Council, Civic Centre, King Street, Enderby, Leicestershire, LE19 4NT.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 16 September 2026.
