What is planned?

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

Planning Permission Is Sought For The Following:

26/1194/LBC/BSM & 26/1193/FUL/BSM: Aldenham School, Aldenham Road, Elstree, Borehamwood, WD6 3AJ. Alterations to building to remove the single storey spaces from around the auditorium and flytower, and replace them with two storey and double height spaces, new foyer with colonnaded entrance (including level access), new rooftop air-handling plant and photovoltaic array, installation of lift, surface water attenuation measures, together with associated hard and soft landscaping. Reason: Listed Building.

26/1218/HSE/KSE: 22 The Grove, Radlett, WD7 7NF. Conversion of garage to habitable space with window to replace garage door and new pitched roof, construction of first floor side extension and part single, part two storey rear extension with insertion of 1x side rooflight, alterations to fenestration and front hard landscaping. Reason: Conservation Area.

26/1219/HSE/WCC: The Barn, Grange Lane, Letchmore Heath, Watford, WD25 8DY. Erection of a detached timber-clad garden studio cabin for use as a small home office space and gym room ancillary to the existing dwelling, and associated soft landscaping. Reason: Conservation Area.

Plans may be inspected by visiting our website at www.hertsmere.gov.uk/planning, at the Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood (during normal office hours). Comments in writing, quoting the appropriate reference, to the Head of Planning at the Borehamwood offices within 21 days from the publication of this notice or 30 days if relating to an application accompanied by an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).

Under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 any comments you wish to make in relation to this planning application will be held on a statutory register, which will be available for inspection at the Council Offices.

Please note should this application result in an appeal deemed suitable for the Part 1 Written Representation procedure, this may be the only opportunity for you to submit your representation. Should you wish to withdraw your original comment at appeal stage, you can do so within 4 weeks of the start date of an appeal.
