REASON FOR INQUIRY: An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an Inquiry to determine 2 cross boundary applications for planning permission referred to the Secretary of State under section 77 of the 1990 Act for; Guildford Borough Council application: Residential development comprising of 234 dwellings, including 50% affordable dwellings, together with means of access, internal road network, parking, public open space (including play space), landscaping and associated works. (Application for Full Planning Permission) Ref: 25/P/01474 Waverley Borough Council application: Creation of a vehicular access to Ock Way and pedestrian access routes (application associated with planning application 25/P/01474 under determination by Guildford Borough Council) -Ref: WA/2026/00451 at Land East of Eashing Lane and West of Ock Way, Godalming, Surrey The inquiry is being live streamed and can be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/@WaverleyBorough/streams Members of the public may attend the Inquiry and, at the Inspector's discretion, express their views.
