NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Norwich Road, Wisbech Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21248

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Norwich Road, Wisbech as lies between Churchill Road & Bowthorpe Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1101; B198; Lerowe Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas mains replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 5/10 & 27/11/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Dykemoor Drove, Doddington Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21251

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Dykemoor Drove, Doddington as lies between Loomes Farm & Doddington Byway 20. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1093; New St; Newgate St; Primrose Hill & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 09:00hrs & 16:00hrs on 20/10/26 when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Sutton Road, Leverington as lies between So April Cottage & Gypsy Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1101; A17; A47 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of new ducting & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 19/10 & 21/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

It is anticipated that these works will take place between 06:00hrs & 23:59hrs on 5/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Sixteen Foot Bank, Stonea Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21381 Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Sixteen Foot Bank, Stonea as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1098; B1093; B1100 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 9/10 & 19/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Wype Road, Eastrea Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21383

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Wype Road, Eastrea as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicles is via Wype Rd, Eastrea; A605; B1040; Oilmills Rd, Pondersbridge; Oilmills Rd, Ramsey Mereside; Wells Bridge; B1096; B1093 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 4/10 & 5/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Fen Road, Parson Drove Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21416

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Fen Road, Parson Drove as lies between B1166 & Long Drove. The alternative route for vehicles is via Long Drove, Parson Drove; Black Drove, Murrow; A47; B1187 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate manhole maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 23/10 & 26/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

London Street, Whittlesey Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21193

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along London Street, Whittlesey as lies between Church Street & St Mary’s Street. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1040; Market St; St Mary’s St & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate drainage maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 08:00hrs & 17:00hrs on 2/11/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Various Roads, North Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21375

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads, as set out in Schedule 1 below. Nothing in this Order shall prevent access & egress from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water mains laying & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28/9/26 & will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedule.

Schedule 1 – Road Closures

Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders. The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire & Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
