The following applications have been received by the Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts:
A/26/101176/MAJOR Grand Hotel Dorning Street Wigan WN1 1ND Erection of 2 buildings comprising 20 self-contained apartments and undercroft parking together with associated external parking area and landscaping following demolition of existing building
Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Wigan Council for the above works which the Council considers would affect the setting of a listed building and which is within a Conservation Area:

A/26/101410/VARLB Lock 11 Wigan Flight Leeds And Liverpool Canal Wigan To vary condition 2 (plans) of Listed Building Consent A/25/099840/LB –
to allow installation of railings around the mechanical winding gear and to remove the existing heel grips from both bottom gate quadrants
Notice is hereby given that an application for Listed Building Consent to carry out the above works has been made to Wigan Council.
A/26/101423/LB Lock 10 Wigan Flight Leeds And Liverpool Canal Wigan Listed building consent for the installation of a winding mechanism to aid the operation of the bottom or tail gates of lock 10, to include the installation of railings and removal of heel grips and disused winding drum
Notice is hereby given that an application for Listed Building Consent
to carry out the above works has been made to Wigan Council.
