THE BOLSOVER DISTRICT COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH No.55 (PART) PARISH OF WHITWELL)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026
On 3rd September 2026 Bolsover District Council confirmed the above order.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the footpath as described in Schedule 1 of this notice and as shown on the order map.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Bolsover District Council, The Arc, Clowne S43 4JY from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £10
This order comes into force on the date that Bolsover District Council certifies the Order, but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to that Act.

The whole width of Whitwell FP 55 from Point A (grid reference 453369, 376175) on Loxley Lane, Whitwell in a south westerly direction for a distance of 207 metres to Point B (grid reference 453210, 376046), then in a south, south easterly direction for a distance of 24 metres to Point C (grid reference 453209, 376023). Total distance-231 metres

DESCRIPTION OF SITE OF NEW PATH OR WAY

The line of the new path will run from Point A (grid reference 453369, 376175) on Loxley Lane, Whitwell in a general south westerly direction for a distance of 34 metres to Point D (grid reference 453350, 376151) then heading in a south, south westerly direction for a distance of 26 metres to Point E (grid reference 453344, 376127), then heading in a south westerly direction for a distance of 120 metres to Point F (grid reference 453255, 376041), then heading in a north westerly direction for a distance of 26 metres to Point G (grid reference 453237, 376057), then heading in a south westerly direction for a distance of 54 metres to Point H (grid reference 453192, 376032).Total distance- 260 metres
