PUBLIC PATH ORDER 01/2026
Location: Land to the rear of Gladwish Lodge Headcorn Road Sutton Valence ME17 3EL
Maidstone Borough Council (“the Council”) hereby gives notice that on 15th September 2026 in pursuance of powers under Section 257and Paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Maidstone Borough Council confirmed the above order as an unopposed Order.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to enable development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, namely:- Planning Permission (ref: 25/504176/FULL) proposal:- Erection of a detached self-build dwelling alongside the provision of a garage including annexe ancillary to dwelling, parking/turning arrangements and soft landscaping works
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at The Maidstone Council Offices Gail House, Lower Stone Street, Maidstone ME15 6NB during normal office hours by appointment only (Except Bank Holidays). This Order comes into force on the date on which the Kent County Council as The Highways Authority certifies that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within six weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to that Act.
