Screening Determination Notice under Section 8 (1)
Section 8(1) of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005 requires Perth & Kinross Council to determine whether the Open Space Strategy is likely to have significant environmental effects.
Perth & Kinross Council has determined, after consultation with Nature Scot, Scottish Environment Protection Agency and Historic Scotland, that the Open Space Strategy is not likely to have significant environmental effects and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) is not required.
This notice fulfils the publicity requirements under Section 10(2) of the Act.

A copy of the screening determination is available on the Council’s website at http://www.pkc.gov.uk/ldp2openspace or can be viewed during normal business hours at: Perth & Kinross Council 2 High Street, Perth PH1 5PH
