The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Diversion of Highway (South West) (No.18) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up and diversion of a length of footpath that connects Culver Way to Orchard Avenue in the City of Plymouth. This is to enable development as permitted by Plymouth City Council, under reference 25/01103/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO2070097). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Plymouth Central Library, Taylor Maxwell House, 167-171 Armada Way, Plymouth, PL1 1HZ.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 7 September 2026.
