What is planned?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
FOLLY WAY (PART), MAIDENHEAD (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any person from proceeding along Folly Way from its junction with Castle Hill to eastern boundary of No 8 Castle Mews.

The alternative route for pedestrians is via A4 Castle Hill and Grenfell Road.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate footway resurfacing works and as result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order will come into operation from 08:00 hours on Monday 14th September until 16:00 on Friday 18th September 2026.
