The following Proposals are the subject of an application submitted to the Council.
Proposal Affecting A Conservation Area
26/01942/FP - Agricultural Barn And Roadside Gault Brick Barn, Ashwell Road, Newnham, Hertfordshire, SG7 5JX - Change of use of parts of two existing agricultural barns to form a workshop-based vocational learning and tuition centre (Use Class F1) including external alterations to the gault brick barn including the installation of exterior cladding, brick plinth and proposed window and door to facilitate the change of use.
26/01804/FPH - 6 Westbury Farm Close, Offley, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG5 3FL - Erection of detached timber framed outbuilding to rear garden following demolition of existing detached outbuilding.
26/01819/FP - Health Centre, Bedford Road, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG5 1HF - Installation of air source heat pump and acoustic enclosure.
26/01655/FPH - 20 Sollershott West, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, SG6 3PX - Replacement of existing front and side windows.
Proposal Affecting A Listed Building Or A Building Of Special Architectural Or Historic Interest
26/01818/LBC - The Green Man, 5 High Street, Offley, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG5 3AR - Timber frame to front left gable exposed (works already carried out). Structural timber interventions to support existing framing and rebuild brick infill panels where required. Apply wood fibre boarding before lime rendering and externally redecorating.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the Proposal should submit them in writing to this office by no later than 23 days from the date of this notice. For householder applications, in the event of an appeal against refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.
