Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion & Definitive Map & Statement Modification Order Town & Country Planning Act 1990 Section 257 Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 Section 53A(2) The North Yorkshire Council Restricted Byway No. 30.27/4 Musham Bank Eastfield Diversion Order 2026. The above Order, made on 31.07.26, under Section 257 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1980 & Section 53A (2) of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 will divert the restricted byway described below and modify The Eastern Part of the County of the Former North Riding of Yorkshire Definitive Map & Statement accordingly. Restricted Byway No. 30.27/4 between 50327 48468 & 50353 48473 will be diverted onto a new route alignment between 50327 48468 & 50353 48473. A copy of the Order & the Order Map have been placed & may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Eastfield Community Library, Eastfield, North Yorkshire YO11 3LL until 24.09.26. Copies of the Order & Map may be purchased from the Definitive Map Team, North Yorkshire Council, County Hall, Northallerton DL7 8AD (tel: 01609 532512) at a cost of £2.00, or downloaded free from our website

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Stephanie Dobbing at the above address or email stephanie.dobbing
not later than 24.09.26. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential & may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, The North Yorkshire Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.
