Public Exhibition to be held in respect of Whitehill Wind Farm

(site north of Whitehill, Dalry, North Ayrshire, approximately 3.8 km east of

Largs and 3.2 km north-west of Kilbirnie)

Whitehill Wind Farm – Public Exhibition

Eurowind Energy Limited are seeking planning consent for Whitehill Wind Farm located within the south-eastern extents of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park (CMRP) across Lairdside Hill and Greenside Hill approximately 3.8 km east of Largs and 3.2 km north-west of Kilbirnie. The Proposed Development will comprise up to five wind turbines with blade tip heights of up to 200 m and associated infrastructure.

A proposal of application notice (PAN) has been submitted to North Ayrshire Council. The following public events are to be held:

• Wednesday 9 September 2026, 2pm to 8pm in the Bridgend Community Centre, Room 1, 17 Bridgend, Kilbirnie, KA25 7DJ

• Thursday 10 September 2026, 2pm to 8pm at the Blair Arms Inn, 2 - 4 Vennel Street, Dalry, KA24 4AF

Interested parties are invited to participate in these events. At the public consultation events, you can view the project plans, ask the project team questions, and provide feedback which will help refine the project’s design. Comments and queries can be posted for a further 3 weeks, to 2 October 2026.

The information available at the in-person events is also available on the project website and can be accessed via www.whitehillwindfarm.com.

Comments on the presentation and information on the website are also encouraged and can be made throughout the 4-week consultation period.

Comments should not be submitted to the Council at this time as they will not be taken into consideration. Statements made to the prospective applicant and their representatives are not representations to North Ayrshire Council. If a planning application is subsequently submitted, then there will be an opportunity to make a direct representation to the Council at that time.
