Land known as Land at Three Acres, Maypole Road, Hoath, Kent, CT3 4LN, without lawful planning consent, hereafter entitled “The Land”. On 12 and 13 October 2026, Canterbury City Council (the Claimant) will be attending the High Court seeking a Final Injunction against the Land.

The Claimant is seeking a Final Order to confirm the prohibitory requirements already set out in the Interim Injunction Order of the Honourable Mr Justice Dias relating to the Land (dated 22 May 2026) and continued by the later Interim Injunction Order of the Honourable Mr Justice Mansfield (dated 28 May 2026).

A Final Order will be sought against named defendants and also Persons Unknown as the Claimant considers an injunction to be necessary and expedient, and that there is compelling justification to include Persons Unknown in these circumstances.

Should you be personally affected by the injunction sought or have a genuine interest in the Land, including if you are considering occupying or buying any part of the Land in the future, you should be aware of the abovementioned proceedings.

Further information about this matter can be found by searching on the Council’s website here:
