What is planned?
Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 as amended by The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 (Regulation 7(2)(b))
PRE-PLANNING APPLICATION PUBLIC EVENT
Proposal: Watercourse enhancements and realignments including the creation of new channels and re-profiling of banks; enhancement of wetland areas; removal of embankments to enhance watercourses; removal of culverts and installation of one new and two replacement open span bridges; installation of seating areas; earthworks associated with embankment removal and channel works.
At: Wester Inch, Bathgate Meadows, Meadowpark, Bathgate
A public exhibition will take place on Wednesday 9th September 2026 between the hours of 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm at Jim Walker Partnership Centre, 21-55 South Bridge St, Bathgate, EH48 1TL.
