Great Yarmouth Borough Council has received the following planning application for development in the Borough, which is hereby advertised.

The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 (Article 15). THE PROPOSALS BELOW ARE ADVERTISED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: (1) Affects the setting of a Listed Building (2) A Departure from development plans

3 South Beach Parade, Great Yarmouth, NR30 3EJ; Installation of signage comprising: 2no. back-to-back D48 digital advertisement displays (static illumination). Application No. 06/26/0561/A (1)

Summer Meadow Stables, Market Lane, Filby, Great Yarmouth, NR29 3ST; Alterations, extension and Conversion of stable block to create a 3-bedroom self-build/custom-build dwelling with associated parking and landscaping. (Re-consultation: Additional information received). Application No. 06/26/0074/F (2)

Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15(3) OF AN APPLICATION

FOR SUBSEQUENT CONSENT ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT

Proposed development at: North Quay and land off Acle New Road, Great Yarmouth, NR30 1JQ

I hereby give notice that: Willmott Dixon Construction Ltd & Rioja Estates, on behalf of Great Yarmouth Borough Council has submitted to Great Yarmouth Borough Council a subsequent application in respect of: Hybrid planning application for the phased mixed-use redevelopment of North Quay and land off Acle New Road comprising – Full application: the demolition of existing buildings and provision of an Outlet & Leisure Village comprising retail (Use Class E(a)), food and beverage (Use Classes E(b)/sui generis), and leisure/cinema uses (Use Class E(d)/sui generis), retail storage (Use Class B8), a service yard, management suite and associated facilities (including commercial kiosks (Class E(a)/E(b)/sui generis)); the provision of multi-storey car park and a separate electric vehicle charging hub (accessed from Acle New Road); riverside walkway and other public realm/highways works, landscaping and associated ancillary development; and the change of use of 80, 81 and 82 North Quay from residential (Use Class C3) to flexible uses within Use Classes F1, F2(b) and/or Class E. Outline application (all matters reserved): the provision of a hotel (Use Class C1) and residential development (Use Class C3).

The above application proposes a major development, within a Conservation Area (No. 2), affecting Listed Buildings and affecting a Public Right of Way and forms an application for subsequent consent comprising EIA Development accompanied by an Environmental Statement.

Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, plans, Environmental Statement and other documentation at the Great Yarmouth Borough Council offices, Town Hall, Hall Plain, Great Yarmouth NR30 2QF, during all reasonable hours until 21st September 2026.

Members of the public may obtain copies of the Environmental Statement from: Willmott Dixon Construction Ltd & Rioja Estates at a reasonable charge commensurate with the media on which it is provided.
