What is planned?

THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015

The following applications have been submitted for consideration by the Council:

26/1204/FH - Hillside Farm, Stowting Hill, Stowting, TN25 6BE - Erection of a two storey rear extension and a single-storey side extension linked by a glazed connection, together with alterations to the front elevation including a redesigned entrance, revised fenestration, external material changes, and associated landscaping works.

26/1205/FH - Rhodesia House, 2, Clifton Crescent, Folkestone, CT20 2EW - Listed Building Consent for the internal and external refurbishment of the building, including changes to the internal layout including the removal of existing and erection of new partition walls at ground floor level; removal of existing floor structures to parts of the first, second and third floors and replacement with raised floor structures; removal of existing plaster from external walls and replacement throughout all floors; removal and replacement of existing coving, ceiling roses and skirtings at first and second floor level; replacement of existing windows with double-glazed units; new replacement roof including the installation of an Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) to the north elevation, and repair of existing dormers.

26/1265/FH - Verge between Foresters Way & Shellons Street, Folkestone, CT20 1EE - Installation of three permanent public art flag sculptures.

26/1267/FH - Public Hardstanding, The Stade, Folkestone, CT19 6RB - Installation of a single permanent public art flag sculpture.

26/1290/FH - Hythe Imperial Hotel & Golf Course East & West, Princes Parade, Hythe, CT21 6AE - Hybrid planning application comprising of full planning permission for: (i) extensions to, and the redevelopment of the Hythe Imperial Hotel to provide additional hotel accommodation, a new spa facility and a public gym and swimming pool, and (ii) the redevelopment of the existing golf course to include an ‘academy’ golf course and clubhouse, an adventure golf course and splash park with associated access, parking, landscaping and other ancillary works, and;
Outline planning permission for the erection up to 291 residential dwellings (Class C3) with all matters reserved except for the principal access from Princes Parade and Imperial Gardens.

26/1292/FH - East View, Dungeness Road, Dungeness, TN29 9NE - Variation of condition 2 (approved plans) of planning permission 25/0765/FH to allow for additional solar panels, removal of shingle roof & replace some louvres on side widows in lieu of glass.

Please note that any representations received will be publically viewable on the Council’s website.

The applications marked (*) do not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.
