The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (West Midlands) (No. 17) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of highway verge to the east of the A38 at Severn Stoke, in the District of Malvern Hills. This is to enable development as permitted by Malvern Hills District Council, under reference M/26/00227/CU.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO9763672). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Malvern Hills District Council, The Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern, WR14 3AF.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 21 August 2026.
