The following applications have been received by the Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts:
The Council has received the following planning application which is located within a Conservation Area: Railway Road
A/26/101071/FULL 44-52 Railway Road Leigh WN7 4AT. Change of use to a mixed flexible use comprising a hotel (Class C1) and a house in multiple occupation (39-bedroom 48-person maximum occupancy) (Sui Generis), together with external alterations to fenestration, including alterations to front dormer, 8 lightwells with basement windows to front and rear, second storey rear extension and dormer, associated cycle stores and boundary treatments. A planning application has been made to Wigan Council for the above proposal, which the Council considers would affect the character or appearance of the Conservation Area.
