Hastings Borough Council (Footpath No. HAS/288/1 - Part) Stopping Up Order 2026
The above order was made on 17 August 2026 The effect of the order will be to stop up that part of the public footpath running from Point A to Point B as shown on the order map.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Muriel Matters House, Breeds Place, Hastings, East Sussex TN34 3UY from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on Monday and Thursday and from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday and from 10.00am to 4.30 pm on Friday. Copies of the order and map can be downloaded for free from the

18 September 2026. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representation or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Hastings Borough Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
