I give notice that on 21st September 2021, Albion Land submitted two (2) applications for planning permission (“the Applications”) to Cherwell District Council (“the Council”) of 39 Castle Quay, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 5FD.
The Applications relate to:
1. Land at OS Parcel 0006, South East of Baynards House Adjoining A43 Baynards Green, Ardley, Oxfordshire, OX27 7RD
2. Land at OS Parcel 2636, NW of Baynards House, Ardley, OX27 7SQ
By Application 1, Albion Land sought outline planning permission (all matters reserved except for access) for the erection of buildings comprising logistics (Use Class B8) and ancillary Office (Use Class E(g)(i)) floorspace and associated infrastructure; construction of new site access from the B4100; creation of internal roads and access routes; and hard and soft landscaping.
By Application 2, Albion Land sought outline planning permission (all matters reserved except for access) for the erection of buildings comprising logistics (Use Class B8) and ancillary Office (Use Class E(g)(i)) floorspace; construction of new site access from the B4100; creation of internal roads and access routes; hard and soft landscaping including noise attenuation measures; and other associated infrastructure.
The Applications were accompanied by an Environmental Statement.
On 21st January 2026, the Council, as local planning authority, refused the Application.
On 2nd April 2026, Albion Land appealed to the Secretary of State against the Council’s decisions to refuse to grant planning permission (“the Appeals”).
As part of the Appeals, the Environmental Statement for the Proposed Development has been updated by Albion Land through the provision of an Addendum Environmental Statement dated July 2026 (“the Addendum ES”). The Addendum ES consolidates the previous addenda to the Environmental Statement (from November 2025); provides relevant updates in respect of matters arising since the determination of the Applications; and ensure all relevant cumulative impacts with other development are captured.

The Addendum ES is available to view online at https://planningregister.cherwell.gov.uk/Planning/Display/21/03267/OUT and https://planningregister.cherwell.gov.uk/Planning/Display/21/03268/OUT. This will be available to view during the period of 30 days beginning with the date of this notice (20TH August 2026) and ending on 19th September 2026.
The Addendum ES is also available to view at Cherwell District Council, 39 Castle Quay, Banbury, OX16 5FD between the hours of 8.45am-5.15pm Monday to Friday inclusive during the period of 30 days beginning with the date of this notice and ending on 19th September 2026.

The costs for which are £15 for a copy on a USB drive (including postage) or £400 for a printed copy (including postage).
