Langley - Public Bridleway Diversion Order

Notice Of Confirmation Of Public Path Order - (Langley 5 Bridleway) Public Path Diversion Order 2026 - Town And Country Planning Act 1990, Section 257

On 17th August 2026 North Hertfordshire District Council confirmed the above order.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the public bridleway, Langley BR 5 and create an alternative bridleway for the use as a replacement to a line running from TL 2115 2319, to TL 2116 2319, to TL 2115 2321, to TL 2136 2346, to TL 2143 2341 as shown on the Order Plan.

Copies of the confirmed order and order plan may be seen, by appointment at: North Hertfordshire District Council, Council Offices, Gernon Road, Letchworth Garden City, Herts, SG6 3JF, free of charge between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The order comes into force on the date on which North Hertfordshire District Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the order have been complied with, but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question it’s validity or that of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of that act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date below on which notice is first published.
