What is planned?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the

Temporary Traffic Orders described below

CHURCH HILL N21

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Works

Operational Date and times “At any time” on 26 August 2026 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road, from its junction with Hill House Close, westbound for approximately 55m.

PICKETTS LOCK LANE N9

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway Works

Operational Date and times: “Between 08:00 – 18:00” on 26 August 2026 for 1 day or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road and suspend parking between Montagu Road and Meridian Way on both sides of the road.

NAPIER ROAD, SCOTLAND GREEN ROAD EN3

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Construction Works

Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 26 August 2026 for 18 months or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to;

Scotland Green Road

  • no stopping, waiting and loading, west side, from its junction with Tennyson Close for approximately 25m to the north;

Napier Road

  • no stopping, waiting and loading, north side, from its junction with Curzon Avenue to a point 126m to the west.

BEDEVERE ROAD N9

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: “Between 09:30-15:30” on 27 August 2026 for 2 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road between No.s 1-15.

CAMBRIDGE GARDENS, DONKEY LANE EN1

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential TfL Works

Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 29 August 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to;

Cambridge Gardens

  • close this road at its junction with the A10 Great Cambridge Road and;

Donkey Lane

  • suspend parking on this road, east side, from a point between No. 7a for approximately 200m westbound

ECCLESBOURNE GARDENS, OAKTHORPE ROAD, CHIMES AVENUE N13

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 31 August 2026 for 2 months or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to;

Ecclesbourne Gardens

  • close this road at its junction with Oakthorpe Road on a phased basis; and

Oakthorpe Road

  • suspend parking between No.57 and its junction with Arnold Gardens, on both sides of the road

Chimes Avenue

  • suspend parking from its junction with Oakthorpe Road to No.16, on both sides of the road.

    Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

    Operational Date and times: “At any time” on a phased basis on 31 August 2026 for 3 weeks or until works are completed.

    The general effect of the Order would be to;

    Concord Road

    • close this road and suspend parking between Lincoln Road and Clarence Road on both sides of the road; and

    Clarence Road

    • close this road and suspend parking at its junction with High Street EN3 for approximately 10m on both sides of the road; and

    High Street

    • close the cycle lanes, north side, between Clarence Road and Lincoln Road and south side, between Orchard Road and South Street Orchard Road.

    HOPPERS ROAD, THE GREEN N21

    Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

    Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 31 August 2026 for 2 days or until works are completed.

    The general effect of the Order would be to;

    Hoppers Road

    • suspend parking, east side between No.s 214-212

    The Green

    • Suspend parking, south side between No.s 19a-17

    SHARON ROAD EN3

    Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

    Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 1 September 2026 for 4 days or until works are completed.

    The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on this road, west side, from a point outside No.8/10, southwards for approximately 60m.

    BROOMFIELD LANE N13

    Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

    Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 1 September 2026 for 4 days or until works are completed.

    The general effect of the Order would be to close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road, between No.s 38/39 and its junction with Powys Lane.

    CRAWLEY ROAD EN1

    Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

    Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 2 September 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.

    The general effect of the Order would be to close this road between No.s 3-7 on both sides of the road.
