What is planned?

The following applications have been received:-

THE DEVELOPMENT DOES NOT APPEAR TO ACCORD WITH THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN IN FORCE FOR THE AREA - P0885/26/OUT - Section 73 application for a minor material amendment to planning permission P1619/23/OUT through the variation of Condition 3 (Approved Plans) and Condition 26 (Surface Water Drainage) to alter and reduce the approved red line boundary and revise the wording of condition 26 to refer to the submitted and alternative surface water drainage strategy - Land North East, Grove Lane, Lydney.

WORKS WITHIN A CONSERVATION AREA/AFFECTING THE SETTING OF A LISTED BUILDING - P0723/26/FUL - Erection of dwelling with associated access, parking and landscaping (part-retrospective) - Plot Rear Of, 9 Culver Street, Newent.

AFFECTING A PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY - P0852/26/FUL - Erection of 3 storey front/side extension and extension to timber decking with association works - Craig Y Heul, Ross Road, Lower Lydbrook.  P1913/21/FUL - Creation of 5.8kms long pedestrian and cycling path including sections of existing forest road and paths 1.8kms long. This application includes links to Whitemead Park, Norchard Station and Bream Road, these links amount to 330m of new route and 560m of repairs to existing paths and tracks (revised scheme) - Dean Forest Greenway, Parkend, Lydney.

Applications submitted can be inspected electronically at the Council Offices, High Street, Coleford, Glos, GL16 8HG, during office hours or through the Council’s website at www.fdean.gov.uk using the P reference number quoted above.  Any representation about any applications should be made in writing to me at the above address no later than the 9th September 2026.  Comments made will be available for public inspection on the website
