NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following application(s) for planning permission have been made to the Council:
Application Number: 26/0310/OUT
Location: Land West Of Benfleet, East of Canvey Way (A130) and North and South of Jotmans Lane Benfleet Essex
Proposal: Outline application for the demolition of existing buildings, and development of up to 675 dwellings, primary school (including early years and childcare nursery), healthcare facility, residential care home, open space, creation of a new access from Canvey Way, infrastructure, drainage, and ancillary works (all matters reserved except access)
Applicant: Persimmon Homes Essex, Burrows & Dunn Ltd and Homestead Land
Reason for Advertising: Major Application for the purposes of the Order above as amended. Departure from the approved Local Plan currently in force
The application(s) may be viewed on the Council’s website www.castlepoint.gov.uk Computers are available for viewing applications at the council offices by appointment during normal office hours. Representations may be submitted online or by writing to the Planning Manager, Castle Point Borough Council, Kiln Road, Benfleet, Essex SS7 1TF, quoting the application number. Representations must be received by 14th September 2026.
