REASON FOR PUBLIC INQUIRY

Non determination of planning application submitted to Braintree District Council for:

Outline planning application with all matters reserved except for access for the demolition of all buildings and structures, and erection of up to 350 dwellings (including affordable housing), with public open space (including childrens play areas), landscaping and sustainable drainage system (SuDS) and land for an early years/nursery facility and associated infrastructure.

(This application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement)

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold a Public Inquiry opening on the 29th September 2026 to decide the appeal.
