The following applications have been received by the Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts:

A/26/101094/VARMAJ Maxilead Limited Woodward Way Chanters Industrial Estate Atherton. Application to vary conditions 2, 4, 5, 8 and 18 of previously approved A/17/83795/MAJMIN to allow for amendments to the approved plans, to allow the opening hours on weekdays for deliveries 06:30 to 18:00 and for processing of metals 08:00 to 18:00, to vary the approved phasing plan and to vary conditions 8 and 18 to only provide information for Phase 2b. The proposed development does not accord with the provisions of the Development Plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.

The Council has received the following planning application which is located within a Conservation Area: Hindley Town Centre.

A/26/101108/FULL 90 Market Street Hindley Wigan WN2 3AN. Change of use to a hot food takeaway, retention of shopfront, installation of an extraction flue on the rear elevation, and 1.8m high fencing and gates to rear (Part retrospective). A planning application has been made to Wigan Council for the above proposal, which the Council considers would affect the character or appearance of the Conservation Area.
