C83S - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C83s Road – 19.08.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 19.08.26 for 6 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the C83s Road from the junction with the A920 to Smiddyhowe.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during telecoms works.
An alternative route is available via the A920 to C58s, C58s to C83s and vice versa. Details of the restriction can be viewed online at https://online.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/apps/roadworks/
