TEMPORARY DIVERSION OF PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 7 EAGLE
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026
On 16 July 2026 Lincolnshire County Council confirmed the abovenamed Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to temporarily divert the whole width of part of Public Footpath No. 7 in the parish of Eagle running from an unaffected part of Public Footpath No. 7 at OSGR SK 8772 6642 (A) in a generally southerly direction for approximately 290 metres to terminate at an unaffected part of Public Footpath No. 7 at OSGR SK 8773 6614 (B). The total length of footpath to be diverted to be approximately 290 metres as shown between points A-B on Order plan numbered 2025/031/PPO394/ A4 TO AN ALTERNATIVE ROUTE in the parish of Eagle at a varying width of between 1.5 metres and 2 metres running from an unaffected part of Public Footpath No. 7 at OSGR SK 8772 6642 (A) in a generally south west then south south westerly direction for approximately 353 metres to OSGR SK 8753 6613 (C) then curving in a generally south south easterly then south easterly direction for approximately 113 metres to OSGR SK 8762 6607 (D) then curving in a generally easterly through to north north easterly direction for approximately 107 metres to OSGR SK 8769 6615 (E) then running in a generally east south easterly direction for approximately 47 metres to terminate at the unaffected part of Public Footpath No. 7 at OSGR SK 8773 6614 (B). The total length of footpath to be added to be approximately 620 metres as shown between points A-C-DE- B on Order plan numbered 2025/031/PPO394/A4. A copy of the confirmed Order and Order plan have been placed and may be seen during office hours at Main Reception, Lincolnshire County Council, County Offices, Newland, Lincoln, LN1 1YL. The confirmed Order came into force as from 16 July 2026, the date that Lincolnshire County Council confirmed that the terms of Article 2 of the Order had been complied with and that the alternative route has been constructed to a satisfactory standard. If any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which the notice is first published (13 August 2026) as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act.
