Land North of Carcant Lodge, Heriot, Scottish Borders
The proposed development at Land North of Carcant Lodge, Heriot, Scottish Borders is subject to assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017.

Notice is hereby given that further environmental information (FEI) has
been submitted to Scottish Ministers by Energiekontor UK Ltd relating to Erection of 8 No wind turbines with a maximum tip height of 150 metres, formation of access tracks, borrow pit, temporary construction compound, erection of control building, onsite substation and associated infrastructure and energy storage compound.

Possible decisions relating to the application are:

(i) approval of the application without conditions
(ii) approval of the application with conditions
(iii) refusal of the application

The FEI includes information relating to the indicative grid connection corridor and associated grid connection infrastructure to connect the proposed development to the National Grid, together with an environmental assessment of the same.

The FEI together with the EIA report, the associated application and other documents submitted with the application can be viewed on the DPEA website at:

by typing the case reference PPA-140-2104-1 into the “Search by case reference” box. The FEI together with the EIA report, the associated application and other documents submitted with the application can also be inspected between 9.00am and 5.00pm Mondays to Thursday at Planning & Regulatory Services, Scottish Borders Council, Council Headquarters, Newton St Boswells, TD6 0SA.
