PUBLICITY AND CONSULTATION BEFORE APPLYING FOR PLANNING PERMISSION NOTICE UNDER ARTICLES 8 AND 9(2)B

Purpose of this notice: this notice provides the opportunity to comment directly to the developer Parc Ynni Calon Y Gwynt Cyf on a proposed Development of National Significance (DNS) prior to the submission of a planning application to the Welsh Ministers. Planning applications for DNS will be publicised by the Welsh Ministers and the relevant Local Planning Authority; any comments provided in response to this notice will not prejudice your ability to make representations to the Welsh Ministers on any related DNS planning application. You should note that any comments submitted may be placed on the public file.

Proposed development at Parc Ynni Calon Y Gwynt, Caersws, Powys (Nearest Postcode - SY17 5NE). Approx. 2.7km north of Clatter, 3.5km northeast of Carno & 3.5km north of Pontdolgoch.

Main Site Entrance Located at 301150 (Easting), 297190 (Northing), Access Route Entrance Located at junction of A470 & B4568, 301370 (Easting), 293550 (Northing).

I give notice that Parc Ynni Calon y Gwynt Cyf is intending to apply to the Welsh Minsters for planning permission in respect of Development of National Significance which is an energy park comprising 11 three bladed horizontal axis wind turbines with a height to blade tip of up to 200m, a 40MW battery energy storage system (BESS), and associated infrastructure.
