Development Description: Outline planning application for residential development of up to 450 dwellings (C3 use class), with associated works including access, drainage attenuation and public open space, with all matters reserved except for access.
A planning application has been made for the above proposed development. Copies of the application, Environmental Statement, plans and other documents submitted with the application can be viewed using the Council's Public Access website and searching for application "ZD26/00196/OUT" at the following address: https://planning.richmondshire.gov.uk/online-applications/search.do?action=simple&searchType=Application. The Environmental Statement will be available to view within 7 days of the date of this notice. Alternatively, the information can be viewed at: 1. North Yorkshire Council (Richmondshire Office), Mercury House, Station Road, Richmond, DL10 4JX; between 9.00am - 4.30pm Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and between 9.30am -5.00pm on Thursdays. 2. Colburn Community Library, The Broadway, Colburn, Catterick Garrison, DL9 4RF; between Monday & Tuesday 2.00pm-5.00pm; Thursday & Friday 10.00am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-5.00pm; Saturday 10.00am-12.00pm.
Any person wishing to make representations about the application should make them in writing to North Yorkshire Council before 7 September 2026. Such representations should be made at the above address or via the Council's public access website. Copies of this Environmental Statement can be obtained from North Yorkshire Council's Richmond office while stocks last. A charge of £150 will be made for each paper copy of the Environmental Statement provided, based on the cost of reproducing the documents.
