NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for new connection to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Willow Park, Pontefract. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Willow Park.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Alternate route on Willow Park. Residents access to be maintained where possible.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for pole testing to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Common Road, South

Kirkby, from the junction with Holmsley Lane approximately 326 metres eastwards. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Common Road.

24th August 2026 between 09.30 hours to 15.30 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 249) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for collapse on Yorkshire Water Network to be carried out as follows:-

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 251) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for the installation of new vehicular access crossing for new development area to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Barnsley Road, Hemsworth one way from the junction with

Market Street for approximately 200 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Barnsley Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Market Street, Southmoor Road, Hemsworth Bypass, Barnsley Road.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 27th August 2026 to 29th August 2026 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
