TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No.16) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a length of unnamed footpath to the west of St Mary’s Place at Little Dunmow, in the District of Uttlesford. This is to enable development as permitted by Uttlesford District Council, under reference UTT/25/0081/HHF.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO3142957). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Great Dunmow Library, 47 White Hart Way, Great Dunmow, Essex, CM6 1FS.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 06 August 2026.
