Notice under Regulation 21

The proposed development to Little Creoch farm, New Cumnock at C36 Connel Park from Skerrington Roundabout to Connelpark, Cumnock, East Ayrshire, KA18 4QE is subject to assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017.

Notice is hereby given that an Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIA Report) has been submitted to East Ayrshire Council by BHC Ltd relating to the planning application in respect of the agricultural development including:

Erection of 3no. henhouses with 64,000 hens each, muck store, and widening of existing access notified to you under the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 on 29/07/2026.

Possible decisions relating to the application are:

(i) Approval of the application without conditions;

(ii) Approval of the application with conditions;

(iii) Refusal of the application.

A copy of the EIA Report, the associated application and other documents submitted with the application may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the place where the register of planning applications is kept by the planning authority for the area at The Opera House, John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 1DD and also at BHC Ltd. Medwyn Park, Edinburgh Road, Carnwath, South Lanarkshire, ML11 8HS (where a free copy can also be obtained) and also at http://eplanning.east-ayrshire.gov.uk/online/ during the period of 28 days beginning with the date of this notice.

Any person who wishes to make representations to East Ayrshire Council about the EIA Report should make them within that period to the Council via the Council website http://eplanning.east-ayrshire.gov.uk/online/ or by email to submittoplanning@east-ayrshire.gov.uk or in hard copy format to The Opera House, John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 1DD quoting reference 26/0234/PP.
