The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No.31) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a length of footpath leading off Robert Hall Street at Ordsall, in the City of Salford. This is to enable development as permitted by Salford City Council, under reference PA/2023/0425.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/5774). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Salford City Council, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5AW and Ordsall Library, 2 Robert Hall St, Salford M5 3LT.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 6 August 2026.
