Durham - Highway Stopping Up Order for Approved Development

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (North East) (No.9) Order 2026" authorising the stopping up of two southern part widths of Green Lane at High Grange in the County of Durham. This is to enable development as permitted by Durham County Council under reference DM/25/01873/FPA.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NE/S247/6218). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Civic Centre and Library, North Terrace, Crook, DL15 9ES.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 4 August 2026.
