NOTICE OF CONSULTATION
Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 Regulations 19 and 35
Notice is hereby given that Derbyshire Dales District Council has published the Derbyshire Dales Local Plan Pre Submission Draft for a period of six weeks public consultation, beginning at 8am Monday 3rd August 2026 and ending on Monday 14th September 2026 at 5pm.
An online survey will be made available on the District Councils website at www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/local-plan-consultation.
A copy of the Derbyshire Dales Local Plan Pre Submission Draft will be available to view at Matlock Town Hall, Matlock Library, Ashbourne Library, Ashbourne Leisure Centre and Wirksworth Library during normal opening hours.
Public Exhibitions will be held on the following dates and locations, staffed by District Councillors and Planning Policy officers:
• Matlock – Matlock Town Hall Committee Room, Bank Road, Matlock, DE4 3NN Tuesday 11th August, 2-7pm
• Ashbourne – Ashbourne Leisure Centre, Clifton Road, Ashbourne DE6 1DR Wednesday 9th September, 2-7pm
There will also be two Online Workshops:
• Tuesday 25th August, 5-7pm
• Tuesday 1st September, 12pm to 2pm.
